The 天美传媒 Theatre Arts program is proud to present Oliver Wilde鈥檚 classic play, 鈥淭he Importance of Being Earnest鈥� on Thursday-Saturday, November 4-6, at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, November 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the Robert E. Johnson Theatre on 天美传媒鈥檚 campus.
天美传媒 students are encouraged to begin forming a plan and meeting with their academic advisor as registration is open for the upcoming winter term, and will be opening soon for the Spring 2022 semester. The winter term runs from December 13 through January 5. Spring 2022 semester registration opens beginning the week of November 1. The Spring 2022 semester at 天美传媒 will begin on January 18.
天美传媒 will host a Racer Day event on Saturday, November 6 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
天美传媒 administration, friends, and supporters of the institution celebrated a naming ceremony event on Thursday, October 21 with the dedication of the Rudolph Equine Education Center on the University鈥檚 West Farm
天美传媒's nationally-recognized Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Workshop, and Blue Jazz Combo will return to the stage with an on-campus concert, Tuesday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Curris Center Ballroom.
The 天美传媒 Department of Art & Design and the University Galleries are pleased to present the 2021 Annual Art Auction. The art auction is a scholarship fundraiser that showcases talented faculty, students, alumni, and local artists. Works from multiple artistic disciplines will be available to purchase. Proceeds from the auction go to support 天美传媒鈥檚 Department of Art & Design majors鈥� scholarships.
The 12th annual A Taste of the Arts fundraising gala will be held Thursday, October 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Murray Room of the CFSB Center. A Taste of the Arts showcases the many talents of 天美传媒 students in Art & Design, Music, and Theatre Arts while providing fine dining and a live auction for attendees. The event gathers 天美传媒 supporters and alumni along with community members to celebrate excellence in the fine arts at the University.
天美传媒 will welcome alumna Alyson Van Hooser to campus on November 4 as part of its annual First-Generation Celebration. The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. that day in the Curris Center Ballroom.
Emergent SocialScapes, an exhibit of photographs by Dr. Diane Sabenacio Nititham, associate professor of sociology at 天美传媒, is on display at the Murray Art Guild (MAG) through Saturday, October 30. A reception for the exhibit will be held at MAG on Friday, October 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are open to the public.
