Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education

Are you interested in teaching children during their early, formative years? The interdisciplinary early childhood education (IECE) program will prepare you to provide early intervention, care and education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and their families. We鈥檒l provide you with the skills you need to teach children, offering courses in early childhood special education, child development, early childhood and professional education. Plus, you鈥檒l gain field and clinical experiences in public preschool and kindergarten classrooms. We鈥檒l make sure you leave the program with certification to teach children from birth through kindergarten, so you鈥檒l be well on your way to a fulfilling future. The graduate degree is a Master of Arts in Education (MAED).
