College of Education and Human Services

Seventy-four percent of teachers within the 18-county Western Kentucky region are graduates of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ due to the priceless academic opportunities offered by the College of Education and Human Services. Our department and programs span a variety of disciplines from elementary education, communication disorders to criminal justice. In fact, more than 1,500 ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ students are engaged with our departments, with about 1,000 of those having already declared education as their major.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ began as a teaching college and has built upon this foundation over the years with several esteemed accreditations. We provide students with unique hands-on experiences during their pursuit of an education degree in addition to the very best in traditional classroom experiences.
