Initially setting off on a career path as a cellist, Dr. Oldenkamp has performed with numerous orchestras and chamber ensembles in concert houses around the globe including the Wiener Konzerthaus and Minneapolis’s Orchestra Hall. His focus in chamber music led to recital collaboration with artists such as soprano Christine Brewer, bass-baritone Seth Keeton, and cellists Eric Kutz and Anthony Arnone. He also toured the Midwest with the Con Fuoco string quartet, of which he was a founding member, and has made guest appearances with the Kingsley Chamber Players among others.

Dr. Oldenkamp is an SVI-trained vocologist. He has served on the voice faculty at Adrian College, the BU Tanglewood Institute, and is an alumnus of the Apprentice Artist program with Des Moines Metro Opera.
