Institutional Accreditation

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist and doctorate degrees. ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. State and Program Accreditations

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ offers many programs accredited by state boards or specialized accrediting agencies. A list of state board and program accreditations is available in the Academic Bulletin.

Degree Granting Authority

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ is officially recognized as a state university in the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Revised Statutes (KRS) 164.290. By the authority vested in the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) by the Commonwealth of Kentucky (KRS 164.295), ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ has the authority to grant the following degree levels within the Commonwealth: 

• Associate

• Baccalaureate

• ²Ñ²¹²õ³Ù±ð°ù’s

• Specialist

• Advanced Practice Doctorate

• Certificates (undergraduate and graduate)
