Tharpe Lecture Hall inside the School of Engineering, in appreciation of Tharpe鈥檚 esteemed service and his commitment to education at 天美传媒.

鈥淚 was very humbled when I was notified of this very prestigious honor,鈥 said Tharpe. 鈥淚 had no idea that I was held in such high regard by my fellow alumni. The time that I spent at 天美传媒 as both an undergraduate and graduate student prepared me for what I viewed as a very successful career. My six-year term on the Board of Regents was a pleasure. I owe a debt to 天美传媒 that can never be repaid. 天美传媒 is indeed, the finest place I know.鈥
